Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 662!

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA's three membership divisions. Pack 662 has been in operation for over forty years.  It continues to serve the area of Severn MD, by both contributing to the community as well as training the youth of that area to be good and responsible leaders for the community.

Bike Ride & Pack Meeting Event
Pack Event @ 1:00-5:00

Given the success of our Bike Rodeo last year, our Scouts asked to follow-up this year with a Pack Bike Ride Event. Well this is it. Bring you two-wheeler, tri-cycle, Big-Wheeler, training wheeler, or whatever you want to ride, and join us. This is a Bear Den hosted event.

NOTE: The Cub Scout Program has been recently enhanced to "infuse (even more) age-appropriate outdoor program activities."
There are thousands of youth organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. The Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack help remind a boy to do his best.  They teach good citizenship and stregthen feelings about reverence and respect for God.  The Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute contribute to a boy's sense of belonging to a special organization.

On the left is a picture of one of our Pinewood Derby races.  Cub Scouts learn to build their own race cars and then race them on a high-tech, computer-controlled race track.
