Member Information

Cub Scouts are able to participate in many activities throughout the year.  While the primary focus is "having fun,"  the age-appropriate events assist in everyone learning something along the way.

(Above) Here is one Cub Scout racing his home-made sailboat in the Raingutter Regatta.  (Below) is a picture of the Cub Scout Graduation where Cub Scouts advanced to their next rank. The Pack (Home Page) also has a picture of one heat of a Pinewood Derby race.  Cub Scouts build their own car and then race them.
Pack Meeting & Cub Scout Graduation

(Below) is a picture from our June Pack Meeting where we also indulged in a swim party and Bar-B-Q. The Pack was also formally recognized by the Unit Commissioner and presented with Pack-Awards.

(Below) Our Tiger Scout Dens are comprised of boys from the first grade. Each month they participate in a "Go-See-It" activity for age-apropriate learning and fun.

Cub Scout Olympics
(Above) Here is one Cub Scout is trying to beat his personal best time in the Cub Scout Olympics.  (Below) is a picture from the Highland Games. The "Pig Toss" is an adaptation from the original Scottish rules in these games of family relationship building and community comradery.
Recent Events

(Below) Congratulations to the "Slip-knots" Den of our own Webelos Scouts.  They took third place in the District's Klondike Derby competition.  Way-to-go Slip-Knots!  The Klondike Derby is a District-wide event where Webelo scouts pull a "Musher Dog Sled" to various stations. Each station has challenges which require the scouts to use their scouting skills and abilities.

Other events from this past year for Pack 662 included the Haunted Trail and Family Camp-Out, (the ever popular) Pinewood Derby, the Raingutter Regatta, Cub Scout Olympics, Highland Games, Hershey Park Family Camping, as well as the regular weekly activities and skill development and demonstration activities.
